Caffeine, hydration, stress, meals, alcohol: the everyday triggers your Apple Watch can't see.
Why it exists
Sensors cover a lot, but some of the most common migraine triggers are behavioural: caffeine withdrawal, dehydration, skipped meals, stress, alcohol. The check-in captures those in about 30 seconds a day, and every answer feeds your trigger scoring and insights. If you track your cycle, your flow answer powers the forecast’s cycle signal.
How it works
- Find it on the Today tab. Tap through five quick categories; every field is optional.
- Answer any time; you can edit your answers until midnight.
- If you track your cycle, a flow question appears too, powering perimenstrual detection.
- An optional daily reminder can be set in Settings → Daily check-in.
Smart, not judgmental
Migraine Sentry reads answers in context. "No caffeine" only counts as a withdrawal signal if you're normally a caffeine drinker. It looks for changes from your normal, not moral failings.
Consistency beats perfection: even a few check-ins a week sharpen your trigger rankings.
